Key Responsibilities
Provide patient appointment and procedure scheduling via phone and in-office
Reschedule patient appointments as needed using EMR and Scheduling System
Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, Management Staff, and Physicians
Assist with staff scheduling and managerial support
Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Schedule procedures according to department availability
Provide accurate information for departmental scheduling
Ability to be cross trained and perform other assigned duties
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience
Intermediate level of computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word)
Ability to be cross trained
Ability to cover other offices if needed
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a medical front office position
Experience working with an electronic health record
Knowledge of OBGYN
Knowledge of medical terms
