Job Description
Join Medical City Dallas as an RN Oncology CNC and be part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you will coordinate nursing functions and drive performance improvements, all while making a significant impact on patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to support improved outcomes and service.
Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
Supports the facility's efforts to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
Assists with staff scheduling and manages staff labor according to patient care needs.
Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date)
Basic Cardiac Life Support
ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Provider (must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date)
Associate Degree
