The Outpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist provides specialized mental health services to children and adolescents in underserved communities, focusing on emotional, psychological, and behavioral health needs. The role is based at the Suzanne Gresham Center in Muncie, Indiana, offering a comprehensive care environment including a Child Advocacy Center for abuse investigations. This full-time position requires an MD with licensure in Indiana, preferably board certified, and experience in community mental health.

We are currently seeking a full time Outpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to serve patients in our Suzanne Gresham Center located in Muncie, Indiana which is less than an hour away from our capitol city, Indianapolis. This position will work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

At the Suzanne Gresham Center Meridian Health Services provides complete treatment services for East Central Indiana s children and their families. We help children with emotional or psychological needs, foster care placement, addiction issues and other behavioral health needs.

The Gresham Center includes a regional Child Advocacy Center, which offers interviews and investigations of children who have experienced abuse.

The Child Advocacy Center allows community law enforcement and legal teams to pursue reports of child abuse more effectively in an environment designed to keep children s comfort and well-being as a top priority. The Gresham Center maintains a caring and healing environment for victims of child abuse.

We are seeking Outpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist candidates with the following qualifications:

MD or its foreign equivalent with ECFMG certification
A current and valid Physician License in the State of Indiana;
Board Certified OR Board Eligible with plans to get Board certified
Fellowship is a plus
2 years' prior experience preferred.
Experience in community mental health setting preferred
