Job Description
Join Cooper University Health Care as an Associate Clinical Director, where you'll lead and evaluate patient care services, ensuring quality and cost-effective care. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate activities across departments, making a significant impact on patient care and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
Directing, implementing and evaluating patient care services within the assigned unit
Assigning workload and ensuring operational functioning of the department
Coordinating interdepartmental and ancillary activities for quality patient care
Leading the patient care team to meet customer needs and departmental objectives
Ensuring staff participation in educational activities and evaluation processes
Acting as a liaison between nursing and medical staff
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
1 year of demonstrated leadership abilities
Strong planning skills
Understanding of Medical/Surgical patients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
National certification in area of specialty for critical care, operating room, and endoscopy
Advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NRP, PALS)
