WCS Healthcare is urgently seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a state of the art health care system in New Brunswick NJ.

Job Function:

• Day Shift.
• 3x12: 7am - 7:30pm.
• Reviews data in-patient record, including admission and current R.C. orders, patient history, physical exam, PFT values, ABG results, and laboratory data.
• Performs patient assessment in order to monitor effects of therapy provided and documents this assessment in the patient chart.
• Conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures to achieve and maintain adequate oxygenation, a patent's airway, including maintenance of adequate humidification.
• Obtain and analyzes ABG's as ordered/ per policy.
• Follows Department protocols, such as weaning protocol, patient ventilator monitoring, cuff pressure monitoring, etc.

Job Requirements:

• 1.5 years of clinical experience.

• Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) license.

• Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

• BLS certification required.

• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications highly preferred.

• PICU and NICU experience required.
