Join Cargill as an Electrician B and be part of a global team dedicated to building a sustainable future. In this full-time role, you'll work on various electrical projects, ensuring the maintenance and installation of equipment in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in design of electrical projects and install electrical equipment
Consult with operators, supervisors, and engineers to plan layout of equipment and to resolve problems
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on equipment
Inspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation
Modify industrial electronic devices, circuits, and equipment to meet specifications
Maintain equipment logs recording performance problems and repairs
Communicate effectively with team members and assist other plant personnel as needed
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
Must be able to operate machinery
Must be able to read/write English
High School diploma or Equivalent
Basic computer skills including being able to enter and retrieve data
Ability to work overtime and on holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts
Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with wiring and programming Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers
Experience using electrical test equipment for analysis and troubleshooting
Knowledge of the National Electric Code
Apprentice, Journeyman or above license with the state of Nebraska or equivalent
A 2-year degree in electromechanical, electrical system, or equivalent
