• Location: Ketchum, Idaho (83340) – Idaho nursing jobs
• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
• Setting: Women's Services - LDRP, Acute Care
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/9/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7pm–7am), 3 shifts/week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2350–$2520
• Charting System: EpicCare Inpatient EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP/Labor & Delivery experience (postpartum experience preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE (AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced preferred)
• Proficient in newborn stabilization and autonomous management of laboring patients
• Experience with titrating IV drips (Magnesium, Pitocin, Insulin)
• Ability to work independently during night and weekend shifts
• Comfortable floating for safety tasks as needed

L&D Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care for laboring and postpartum patients, including well baby and well mom care
• Stabilize high-risk and critical patients, including hypertensive crisis and hemorrhage protocol
• Serve as newborn nurse during C-sections (not circulating)
• Autonomously manage laboring patients and collaborate with OB and pediatric physicians
• Titrate and monitor IV drips as required
• Document patient care in Epic EMR
• Participate in self-scheduling and equitable distribution of weekends and holidays
• Adhere to hospital dress code and scrub requirements
