• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every Sunday
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570-$1680
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Facility Size: 18-bed birthing center

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Mother/Baby nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA), NRP
• Proficiency with electronic charting systems
• Ability to circulate for C-sections and triage obstetrical patients

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Monitor and respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Circulate for C-sections and assist with specialized procedures
• Triage and assess obstetrical patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient safety
• Work scheduled night shifts and every Sunday, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts
