Job Summary

The RN Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating patient care services, workflows, and daily activities provided by nursing and support staff within the assigned program. This role ensures the consistent delivery of developmentally appropriate, high-quality patient care in accordance with all applicable federal, regulatory, and professional standards.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee nursing and support staff activities to ensure smooth program operations.
  • Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and support to nursing personnel.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet patient needs and program goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, ensuring adherence to established standards of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient-centered care and quality improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by regulatory and organizational guidelines.
  • Participate in program planning, policy development, and quality assurance initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong clinical judgment and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in documentation and use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical practice experience.
  • At least 2 years of pediatric nursing experience.
  • Active RN license (State or Compact).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
