- Shift for this position – Three twelve-hour shifts (weekends if possible)
- Call Expectation – Based on the number of employees taking call, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift (Average for 8 week sign up period)
- Number of Staff – Varies depending on day
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – Average of 8 RNs, 8 Scrub techs and 5 Surgical support techs
- Night Shift – One charge RN and one scrub tech in house with call team backup
- Patient Ratios – 1:1
- Type of equipment – Variety of OR beds and equipment
- EMR - Epic
- Typical Procedures:
- Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, Variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General)
- Very little ENT, Dental, Eyes or plastics
Must Haves: - An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred - A recent 12 months of OR RN experience in an acute hospital setting - Patient advocate as circulator while being a resource for the sterile field - AK RN License - BLS and ACLS Certifications Preferred or Nice to Have: - Scrub and Circulator Experience - CNOR - MediTech Experience - Travel Experience
