Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Manufacturing Engineer II, where you'll develop and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring product specifications align with customer needs. Collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvement and provide technical support in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions and labor standards
Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting
Disposition non-conforming material with root cause analysis
Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers
Develop tools/fixtures to improve ergonomics
Lead corrective action investigations
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail
Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
Technical drawing interpretation and GD&T
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude
Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
Ability to work in a team environment
Proven written and oral communication skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling and programming
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
