Join Zen Educate as a Behavior Technician (TA) and play a pivotal role in supporting students with special needs. You'll work directly in classrooms, implementing individualized behavior support plans and fostering student engagement to ensure academic success.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Support students with self-care and social/behavioral needs
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide timely support for students in crisis
Utilize various learning methods to enhance student engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher or passing score on Paraeducator/Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Prior experience working with children in a structured setting
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience
Experience in a school setting with children with special needs
