Join ECHN as a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, where you will provide essential treatments to patients, evaluate their needs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients based on departmental standards
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on symptoms and medical status
Treats patients with appropriate therapeutic techniques
Administers physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques
Educates patients/families in home exercise programs
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines
Supervises affiliated students
Participates in continuing education and departmental/community in-services
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Current Connecticut license or eligibility
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (or eligibility)
Valid driver's license for occasional travel
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs (Word, Outlook, Excel)
