A correctional facility is seeking a physician for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Beaumont, VA. The position is for an MD only, with a start date ASAPideally within the next two weeks. The assignment length is 3 or 6 months, with an option to extend, and credentialing takes about two weeks. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with no call responsibilities. The provider will see 1820 adult patients per day, working with RNs and LPNs for support.
