Registered Nurse - Telemetry/ Tele -
Shift Detail: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Weekend: Rotating / 2 major holiday
Call Requirements: No
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hrs.
Special Skills/Experience required: 2 Years +
All travelers are required to float
Documentation system: Meditech
Floating policy: As needed
Must have: Must have BLS At least 2+ years of Medical-Surgical RN
Minimal wound care experience
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: Orthopedic Experience
Meditech Experience
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN) Active TX RN License-Temp License are no longer accepted
Procedures performed on unit: Total Knee/Hip Replacement I&D Pre-post-operative procedures
Dress Code: RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
Nail Policy Clean and Healthy
Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
Tattoos Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
Piercings Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited.
