Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, where you'll lead the design and improvement of manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities
Lead design, control, and improvement of manufacturing processes
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
Support manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting
Lead non-conforming material analysis
Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
Provide technical support to manufacturers and fabricators
Develop and implement manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
Drive ergonomics into processes through tool/fixture development
Lead corrective action investigations
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years experience
Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience leading teams/projects
Experience with interpretation of technical documentation
Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail
Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
Technical drawing interpretation, GD&T
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Innovative mindset driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong communication skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling and programming
Experience with refurbishment and repair of Government Furnished Material (GFM) or Equipment (GFE)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
