Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design, control, and improvement of manufacturing processes
  • Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
  • Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
  • Support manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting
  • Lead non-conforming material analysis
  • Drive Continuous Improvement using Six Sigma principles
  • Provide technical support to manufacturers and fabricators
  • Develop and implement manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
  • Drive ergonomics into processes through tool/fixture development
  • Lead corrective action investigations

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain ATF clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading teams/projects
  • Experience with interpretation of technical documentation
  • Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
  • Technical drawing interpretation, GD&T
  • Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude
  • Innovative mindset driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Current DoD security clearance (secret)
  • Experience with automated tooling and programming
  • Experience with refurbishment and repair of Government Furnished Material (GFM) or Equipment (GFE)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
