The  Patient Access Representative Associate is responsible for greeting and welcoming patients in person. Provides a standard registration process by collecting demographic and financial data and enter information into a electronic medical record. Collects co-pay or deductibles and respond to questions regarding financial assistance programs available. Uses resources, tools and procedures to complete accounts in assigned work queues May gather medical record information from all departments for collection You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Products ~ Ability to work on a per diem basis, morning, evening or night shift as the business requires ~ Day Shift – 6:30am – 3:00pm ~ Evening shift – 2:30pm -11:00pm ~ Overnight – 10:30pm -7:00am ~ Must be 18 years of age or older Flexibility to occasionally work other shifts as business requires General office experience Quality communication skills PLEASE NOTE** The sign-on bonus is only available to external candidates. Candidates who are currently working for UnitedHealth Group, UnitedHealthcare or a related entity in a full time, part time or per diem basis ("Internal Candidates") are not eligible to receive a sign on bonus.    85per hour based on full-time employment.
