Fallbrook Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant!

In this role, you will primarily assist during exams and patient care, maintain detailed medical records, review treatment plans, and address clients' questions. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to manage the veterinarian's orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep exams running on schedule. This position is ideal for those who excel in client engagement and schedule management.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

This is a full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday and 1/2 day Saturdays.
  • Compensation: $23-25 per hour, for each hour worked*
  • Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current VA experience

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
  • 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
  • Proficiency in the following skills:
    • Radiology
    • Surgical setup and assisting
    • Phlebotomy
    • SQ injections
