Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of the Paramedic Clinical/Field Education Program
  • Communicate with hospitals and EMS agencies to place students in rotations
  • Monitor compliance and manage the clinical contract process
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clinical site managers
  • Schedule and confirm clinical rotations
  • Provide student orientation and supervision during clinical rotations
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
  • Conduct performance reviews during internships

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Completion of an approved instructor course within one year of hire
  • AHA ACLS Instructor certification
  • PALS certification
  • PHTLS Instructor certification
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive field/clinical experience as a Paramedic or Registered Nurse
  • Certified Paramedic or Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Current certification/licensure in the Program state

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience
  • NREMT certification
