Key Responsibilities
Administers speech and language evaluations to diagnose and plan treatments
Develops individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses
Provides speech and language services and monitors disease progression
Instructs clients in practicing therapeutic exercises
Ensures compliance with speech and language related standards and protocols
Participates in department promotional activities
May supervise assistants, aides, and students
Required Qualifications
Licensed in the state(s) of practice as Speech-Language Pathologist
Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or to be obtained within the first 60 days of employment
Preferred Qualifications
Holds Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by ASHA
Currently working on Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Valid driver's license when applicable
