Job Description
Join Performance Foodservice as a CDL Truck Driver and play a vital role in the food supply chain, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while building lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Perform safety checks including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer
Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
Unload products from the trailer and transport items into designated customer storage areas
Complete daily record of hours of service in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
Required Qualifications
6 months commercial driving experience
High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent
Valid CDL B
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
Pass road test
Valid current DOT Health Card
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment
