Job Description

Join DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital as a Radiology Technologist and make a significant impact in one of the busiest trauma centers. You will perform diagnostic imaging and ensure high-quality patient care while working with advanced technology and a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment
Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness
Interview patients to update medical history and assess risk factors
Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits
Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images
Review images and communicate data to radiologists
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
Provide post care instructions to patients
Participate in process improvement activities
Provide imaging education to residents and new employees
Take call/standby as required

Required Qualifications

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
