Job Description
Join Healthcare Services Group as a Cook, where you'll prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. Be part of a dedicated team making a positive impact in the community while ensuring food quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests
Perform all other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification
Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions
Positive attitude and effective communication skills
Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds
Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
Ability to work around food and cleaning products
Residency within the service area required
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation
