 Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiac Open Heart Surgery)

Location: WellSpan York Hospital – York, PA Shift: Days | 3x12 Hour Shifts | Every 3rd or 4th Weekend Contract Length: 13 Weeks

WellSpan York Hospital is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Travel CVOR RN to join its cardiac surgical team. This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong background in open heart procedures and a passion for delivering high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for cardiac open heart surgeries
• Assist with pre-op and post-op patient care coordination
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with surgical protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and CVOR team members
• Document procedures and patient data accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience – Required
• Proficient in scrubbing for open heart procedures – Required
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania or compact state – Required

• BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA – Required
