Job Description

Join Alameda Health System as a Per Diem Pediatric Physician at the Hayward Wellness Center, where you will provide compassionate, culturally competent care to diverse patients. Collaborate with a dedicated clinical team and engage in evidence-based practices to enhance patient health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional medical services to patients
  • Assist in administrative and professional direction of a medical specialty service
  • Supervise Mid-level Practitioners/Certified Nurse Midwives
  • Practice evidence-based medicine
  • Manage time and patient flow effectively
  • Stay current with patient care responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clinical team to improve quality of care
  • Teach and counsel patients and families

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an approved residency in an appropriate specialty
  • Possession of a current valid license to practice medicine in California
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible in area of specialty
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • CPI-Crisis Prevention Intervention Training
  • Valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Number
