Key Responsibilities
Evaluating students’ communication abilities and implementing individualized, evidence-based speech therapy programs
Monitoring student progress through data-informed practices and providing meaningful updates
Writing timely, comprehensive progress reports and adjusting therapy services
Managing case records with accuracy and compliance according to agency policies
Maintaining detailed and timely session notes and completing all billing documentation accurately
Establishing and maintaining effective communication with families
Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and recommending appropriate treatment plans
Improving clinical service quality by leading staff trainings and mentoring team members
Collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals
Performing other responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in speech pathology or a closely related field of study
Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a speech language pathology (SLP) credential
Prior experience and/or highly knowledgeable in providing speech language therapy support, preferably in an education and/or classroom setting
Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, particularly for students with severe learning disabilities, emotional disturbance and/or behavioral disorders
Proven success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans for students with diverse needs
Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students that help move them toward realistic goals
Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability
Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with instructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment
