Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients based on departmental standards.
Conducts and modifies evaluations based on patient symptoms and medical status.
Treats patients with appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Administers physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques.
Educates patients/families in home exercise programs.
Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines.
Supervises affiliated students and participates in continuing education.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic personal computer skills in Windows programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
