Start Date: November 17, 2025


End Date: February 14, 2026
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
Position Summary
The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative nursing care in a Level 1 trauma setting. The RN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assist in a variety of surgical cases, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and patient safety standards.
Unit Details Department: Operating Room
Shift: Night shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Schedule Type: Deferred; two-week repeating schedule of weekday nights
Requirements

 

  • Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience in a Level 1 trauma facility (must be reflected in work history)
  • Prior travel experience required Active Georgia RN license (or compact license)
  • BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
  • Demonstrated high ratings on all areas of the OR skills checklist
  • Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and peri operative nursing standards.
