Job Description
Join Carrier Global as a Commercial Service Technician - HVAC, where you will leverage your expertise to ensure customer comfort and satisfaction through high-quality service in HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical malfunctions
Performing regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units
Installing, replacing, or repairing HVAC equipment
Assembling and installing metal ductwork
Assisting in planning and designing new installations
Providing estimates of materials required
Repairing and replacing damaged parts and equipment
Reading blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams
Establishing effective relationships with customers
Safely operating company vehicles and equipment
Recognizing risks and implementing safety controls
Participating in required safety training
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years practical working experience in the HVAC Industry
High School Diploma/GED
Valid and current Driver's License
Must be a current union member or willing to join a union
Ability to Push / Pull / Lift 50lbs
Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of building automation controls
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Experience using Salesforce and ServiceMax
