Join Providence as an Electrophysiology Technician and play a vital role in patient care within the Electrophysiology Lab, where you will assist physicians in critical procedures and contribute to a culture of care and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare for and assist the physician in Electrophysiology Lab procedures
Perform as a monitor tech and scrub tech while maintaining sterile technique
Evaluate patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications
Provide patient care and administer drugs commonly used in the EP lab as directed by a physician
Operate and maintain all diagnostic and therapeutic EP equipment used for procedures
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology or equivalent educ/experience
Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire
Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
6 months Cardiac internship during education
EP experience in a technical capacity
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of formal training from an AMA-approved Cardiovascular Technology Program preferred
2 years of prior experience in a cardiovascular laboratory preferred
