Job Description

Join Johns Hopkins Medicine as a Construction Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives in healthcare construction projects. You'll ensure regulatory compliance and promote safe practices, impacting the health and safety of the community we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain The Coordinated Life Safety Assurance Program (CLASP)
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and institutional policies
  • Oversee infection control and life safety codes in construction projects

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent experience
  • Five years of prior experience in facilities management
  • At least one year of experience with construction/maintenance
  • Certification by ASHE, Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) or Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred
  • Proof of attending the 10-hour OSHA course or must obtain within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degrees in allied health, management or construction
