Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Requirements:

• 
  

  Current AZ RN license

• 
  

  BLS, ACLS, NRP required

• 
  

  Cerner experience required (Cerner Maternity is the reporting system)

Scope of Role:

The L&D RN is accountable for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of Obstetrical care. Responsibilities include:

• 
  

  Utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

• 
  

  Applying critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care

• 
  

  Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education

• 
  

  Delegating patient care priorities based on staff experience

• 
  

  Supervising and directing personnel delivering patient care
