Key Responsibilities
Lead and support engineering design, development, analysis, testing, and certification of Tactical Data Networks avionics
Develop, validate, and verify system level requirements
Collaborate on design, development, integration, testing, and operational capability
Lead development of test plans and procedures
Coordinate system-level integration of TDN hardware and software
Oversee critical tests to validate design performance
Provide technical management of suppliers and software team compliance
Support proposal development and trade studies
Coordinate FAA, military certification, and Boeing airworthiness activities
Provide troubleshooting support for production labs and aircraft
Conduct technical issue investigations and Root Cause Corrective Actions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
3+ years of experience with FAA and/or Military type certification requirements
3+ years of experience with Link 16, JREAP networks, and messaging protocols
Experience with Equipment Manager Responsibilities for Avionics Line Replaceable Units
Experience in data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action
Experience in Technical Subcontract Management
Experience developing requirements and performing requirements decomposition
