Responsibilities:

Job Summary

• Assists in the supervision and management of the department.
• Provides monitoring expertise and support to the department
• Responsible for continued departmental development
• Functions as a liaison with other departments
• Administrative duties

 

Qualifications:

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.  Associates degree preferred.

 

Experience

Previous experience of interpreting ECG rhythms required.  At least 1 year of monitor technician experience preferred.

 

Licensure/Certification

Prior to hire, must demonstrate ECG proficiency by passing NRHS ECG exam with a score of 80% or higher.

 

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Basic knowledge of computer systems and using a telephone.
