Job Description
Join Judson Park as a part-time Infection Preventionist RN, where you will lead the infection prevention and control program to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for residents. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to implement best practices and maintain compliance with health standards while enjoying a range of benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Oversight of the facility infection prevention and control program (IPCP)
Developing systems for preventing, identifying, reporting, and controlling infections
Implementing and maintaining a system for recording incidents and corrective actions
Annual review and update of the IPCP
Developing guidelines for decontamination and sterilization activities
Required Qualifications
Completion of Accredited Licensed Nursing Program for an RN
Current LPN/LVN or RN license in Applicable State
Current CPR certification
Minimum of two years of nursing experience or one year as a nursing supervisor
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing, epidemiology, microbiology, medical technology, public health, or other healthcare science
Specialty training in Infection Prevention and Control through accredited continuing education
Clinical observation and assessment skills
Proficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation, review electronic health records and communicate with team members
