Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN compact license (Registered Nurse)
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiac stepdown, cardiac surgery, or clinical support roles
• Proven experience with scrubbing and open heart procedures in a healthcare setting
• Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at time of submission
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Green Bay, WI

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery and cardiac procedures
• Assist with scrubbing and open heart procedures as a key member of the cardiac surgery team
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold safety protocols
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations
