Join Lincoln Electric as a Designer/Drafter and support the Plant Engineering team by implementing capital projects and providing engineering support. This role involves 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and collaborating with teams to deliver impactful design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers with the creation and modification of 3D models and manufacturing drafts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create and manage electronic files using document management systems
Assist in the development and maintenance of templates and schematics
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Support internal and external fabrication through file creation
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Assume additional responsibilities in support of the department's goals
Required Qualifications
Minimum of High School Education or GED
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Technically proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM)
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Basic computer literacy with Microsoft software applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Exposed to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Highly motivated to quickly learn 3D CAD drafting and detail print making
Organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
