Join Kaiser as a CT Technologist where you'll operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Collaborate with healthcare teams and provide exceptional patient care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic procedures and communicate necessary information to the healthcare team
Provide service-oriented communication with patients, explaining procedures and answering questions
Apply measures for minimizing radiation exposure
File work and perform reception/computer tasks including PACs functions
Administer contrast media as directed
Assist with screening patients for contraindications
Conduct quality assurance functions and troubleshoot equipment
Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned rooms
Participate in on-call or standby schedule as assigned
Required Qualifications
Minimum one (1) year experience as a CT technologist within the past 2 years or minimum six (6) months experience in an acute hospital setting within the last year
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) or Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography
Radiologic Technologist Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Basic Life Support within 1 month of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Prior CT work experience using helical and/or multi-detector technology
Attendance at CT and cross-sectional anatomy courses
Associates degree or higher in Radiologic Science or related field
