Key Responsibilities
Support the definition of requirements for propulsion systems
Support the definition of functional and physical interfaces between the propulsion system and the vehicle
Support the configuration or design of propulsion sub-systems and components
Support testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation activities
Support verification tests for propulsion sub-systems and components
Assist with propulsion ground and flight test planning
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or work-related experience with a Master’s degree
Understanding of interactions between propulsion, aerodynamics, and flight controls
Knowledge of internal and external flow characteristics related to inlets, nozzles, and engine operation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in model-based engineering
Familiarity with propulsion system analysis tasks
Previous experience in a multidisciplinary engineering team
