• Contract Duration: 17 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd or 4th weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
• Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1780 - $1910

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience in an acute care hospital
• Experience with Meditech 6.15 EMR required
• Preferred: Travel nurse experience or 5+ years in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Active Registered Nurse license (Georgia or compact state)
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS or ASLS; TNCC preferred
• Willing to undergo weekly COVID testing if not vaccinated
• Must pass online Cardiac Rhythms test (minimum 80%) and ESI Triage Exam during orientation
• Must meet 75-mile radius rule (address on driver’s license must be at least 75 miles from facility)

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages in a busy Emergency Department (approx. 140 visits/day)
• Perform triage, assessment, and treatment for medical emergencies including trauma, neurological, orthopedic, and behavioral health cases
• Document and chart patient care using Meditech 6.15 EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, paramedics, nurse aides, and behavioral health staff
• Participate in fast track and behavioral health areas as needed
• Perform lab draws, IV starts, and assist with emergency procedures
• Maintain patient safety and comply with hospital protocols and standards
