Join a dedicated team as a Paramedic with The Staff Pad, working in a respected non-profit healthcare system in Helena, Montana. Your role will involve responding to 911 calls, providing critical care, and ensuring patient management in high-stress situations while utilizing advanced medical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and promote cohesive patient care management
Provide thorough assessment and treatment of medical, trauma, and environmental emergencies
Respond to emergency/non-emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care
Safely operate emergency vehicles in high-stress situations
Assist and provide clinical and technical assessments and treatments in the Emergency Department
Carry out invasive procedures when necessary within scope of practice
Calculate and administer medication dosages
Collect and interpret diagnostic data
Continuous monitoring of the patient's condition
Liaise with members of other emergency services
Required Qualifications
2 years of practical experience in Emergency Medical Services (preferred)
High school graduate, GED, or equivalent
Successful completion of a Paramedic course or equivalent
State of Montana Paramedic or Registered Nurse with recent Certificate of Equivalency or Physician Assistant licensure
BLS and ACLS certifications
Current Montana State driver’s license with excellent driving record
Preferred Qualifications
Associate of Applied Science or equivalent
National (NREMT) certification
PALS, NRP, PHTLS, and EVOC certifications
Critical Care Transport endorsement within 18 months
