Job Description
As a Transportation Supervisor at Sysco, you will oversee delivery operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency while leading a dedicated team. Your role will involve managing schedules, monitoring performance, and enhancing customer service, all within a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily work and safety of Delivery Associates
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
Manage labor hours and supplies within budget
Prepare work schedules and oversee asset usage
Communicate with Sales Management to resolve customer issues
Conduct safety training and inspections
Monitor associate morale and engagement
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years related experience and/or training
Complete a Sysco approved defensive driving program
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Preferred Qualifications
2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major
