Key Responsibilities

  • Support new and experienced veterinarians
  • Lead a high-functioning team
  • Ensure quality care with minimal fear and stress
  • Perform high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter procedures
  • Provide compassionate preventive and basic care
  • Oversee medical procedures according to standard operating procedures
  • Train veterinarians in medical protocols
  • Participate in administrative tasks and meetings

Required Qualifications

  • Current California State Veterinary License
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary college
  • Minimum one year of experience in high quality, high volume spay/neuter
  • Minimum three years veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
  • Demonstrate true leadership abilities in challenging situations
  • Maintain open mind regarding changes and be willing to learn, implement, and teach new protocols
  • Possess ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced clinic environment
  • Excellent work attendance record
  • Fear FreeĀ® Shelter certification required within 60 days of hire
