Key Responsibilities
Design and install electrical equipment
Coordinate installation and maintenance efforts
Consult to plan equipment layout and resolve issues
Determine equipment feasibility and specifications
Work with voltage levels up to 480 and 4160
Study blueprints and specifications for installation
Perform preventive maintenance tasks
Inspect equipment for defects
Advise management on equipment safety
Maintain equipment logs
Troubleshoot problems as required
Follow safety regulations and standards
Assist with contracted electrical projects
Participate in ongoing training
Perform tasks professionally and timely
Required Qualifications
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
18 years or older
Physical job duties including bending/stooping and climbing ladders
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Work under special conditions (extreme heat or cold)
Ability to work in elevated areas
Operate machinery
Read/write English
High School diploma or Equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability to work overtime
Work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts
Perform electrical maintenance trade
Experience with blueprints and manuals
Operate mobile equipment
High degree of mechanical aptitude
Basic mathematical functions
Willing to work in inclement conditions
Indoor and outdoor plant environment
Very good time management skills
Install conduit and pull wire
Strong commitment to safety
Adequate transportation
Use multiple tools for electrical work
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with wiring and programming Allen Bradley PLCs
Using electrical test equipment for analysis and troubleshooting
Knowledge of the National Electric Code
Mechanical aptitude for blueprints and manuals
Apprentice, Journeyman or above license with the state of Nebraska
2-year degree in electromechanical or electrical system
