Job Description
Join Raytheon's Integrated Air & Missile Defense Systems (IAMDS) as a Principal Systems Engineer, where you will lead the development of complex systems to enhance national defense. This onsite role in Tewksbury, MA, offers the opportunity to tackle significant challenges and collaborate with a team of engineers to drive innovations in air and missile defense.
Key Responsibilities
Concept and requirements development
Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design
Algorithm optimization, research and development
Functional analysis of real world and test data
Multi-disciplinary development efforts across the kill-chain
Collaborate with customers to enhance capabilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
8 years of prior relevant experience
Ability to obtain security clearance
U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with radar systems (e.g., PATRIOT, LTAMDS, AN/TPY-2)
Experience with large-scale data analysis and root-cause analysis
Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
Experience with system level architecture design
Experience with signal processing techniques
Experience in Electronic Warfare/Electronic Attack/Electronic Protection Techniques
Experience interfacing with external customers
Experience across the product development life cycle
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with MATLAB, DOORS, and MS Office
Existing DoD Security Clearance
