Job Description

Join Optum as a Customer Sales Representative and leverage your sales experience to help Medicare-eligible individuals find the right insurance plans. Make a meaningful impact in health equity while enjoying a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Medicare-eligible individuals telephonically
  • Answer incoming phone calls from prospective members
  • Identify customer needs and convert calls to qualified leads
  • Document required information in computer systems
  • Explain product differences and assist in product selection
  • Complete enrollment applications over the phone
  • Meet sales quota and performance criteria

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or higher degree
  • Ability to obtain Health & Disability Insurance License for Puerto Rico
  • 3+ months of experience in a call center or similar structured work environment
  • Proficiency with computers and Windows PC Applications
  • Fully Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Health & Life Insurance License for Puerto Rico
  • US Insurance License
  • 3+ months of sales experience
  • Proven success in a call center or similar structured work environment
