The RN Coordinator will work closely with the oncology team to ensure seamless patient care across all therapy phases, contributing to patient safety and satisfaction. This role involves coordinating clinical care in an outpatient setting and partnering with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate clinical care in the outpatient oncology setting
Manage patient orders and EPIC in-basket communication
Ensure follow-up and specialty appointments are scheduled
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support care delivery
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Three years related nursing experience
Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
Preferred Qualifications
Certification as a generalist in a related specialty area by the American Nurses Association (ANA)
