Job Description

As a Service Center Manager at XPO, you'll lead a team to ensure efficient freight operations while maintaining compliance and safety standards. You'll be pivotal in improving processes and driving productivity in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise employees at the service center
  • Track and audit employee hours and payroll issues
  • Plan daily manpower needs for timely freight delivery
  • Communicate service center productivity and policies to employees
  • Implement cost-cutting measures and improve efficiencies
  • Ensure clean and safe working conditions
  • Comply with laws and company policies

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Thorough knowledge of LTL industry and transportation regulations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Availability to work various shifts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4 years of related work experience or equivalent military experience
  • Experience with process improvement and Lean/Six Sigma
  • Forklift experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
