As a Service Center Manager at XPO, you'll lead a team to ensure efficient freight operations while maintaining compliance and safety standards. You'll be pivotal in improving processes and driving productivity in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise employees at the service center
Track and audit employee hours and payroll issues
Plan daily manpower needs for timely freight delivery
Communicate service center productivity and policies to employees
Implement cost-cutting measures and improve efficiencies
Ensure clean and safe working conditions
Comply with laws and company policies
Required Qualifications
5 years of supervisory experience
Thorough knowledge of LTL industry and transportation regulations
Experience with Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license
Availability to work various shifts
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
4 years of related work experience or equivalent military experience
Experience with process improvement and Lean/Six Sigma
Forklift experience
Strong organizational skills
Solid analytical skills
