Job Description
As a Transportation Supervisor at Sysco, you will oversee delivery operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and efficient service delivery. You'll lead a team, manage schedules, and drive improvements in productivity while maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily work and safety of Delivery Associates
Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate logs
Prepare work schedules and manage labor hours and supplies
Review delivery functions and suggest efficiency improvements
Communicate with Sales Management to resolve delivery issues
Conduct safety training and observations
Perform staff management functions, including performance reviews
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years related experience or training
Ability to engage and lead discussions
Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Excellent computer skills, including spreadsheet and word processing software
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Preferred Qualifications
Two or four-year college degree in Business Management or Supply Chain Management
