Tupelo is located in Lee County, Mississippi and is home to more than 34,500 residents in the city limits and nearly 140,000 people in the surrounding area. The hospital is a 650-bed medical center that provides acute care and surgical services. It is the largest not-for-profit, private hospital in the state and serves 24 counties in north Mississippi, parts of Tennessee, and northwest Alabama. It is home to a NICU, three operating rooms, and two Cesarean section rooms, as well as private labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum rooms.
OBHG OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction. This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time.
